Santa Clara – October 3rd, 2017 – Globally recognized scholar, thought leader, speaker, and Professor at Northwestern Kellogg, Mohanbir Sawhney, joined the advisory board of StartupWind, a global social network and equity crowdfunding platform for entrepreneurs, investors and mentors that enables entrepreneurs to get ready for funding with a compelling story and eventually secure seed financing.

Pofessor Sawhney is the globally recognized scholar, consultant and speaker in innovation, strategic marketing and new media, is the latest addition to the advisory board, which already includes Kellogg Professor Robert Wolcott, Northwestern Professors Mark Werwath and Chris Reisbeck and Silicon Valley executives Ido Sarig and Mahesh Rajasekharan.

Prof. Sawhney holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; an MBA from the Institute of Management, Calcutta; and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

Professor Sawhney advises and speaks to Global 2000 firms and governments worldwide. His speaking and consulting clients include Boeing, Cisco Systems, Goldman Sachs, Intuit, Microsoft, SAP, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, McDonalds and many more. He serves on the boards and advisory boards of several technology companies, including Reliance Jio Infocomm, Bahwan Cybertek, Cross-Tab Group, Georama, Kognetics, LawGeex, PomVom, PypeStream, Sprinklr and vMock.
