Santa Clara, February 6th, 2018 – StartupWind Inc, the Social Network for University Entrepreneurship and alumni angel funding platform was named as a semi finalist for Smart Fifty – a global competition seeking solutions that will transform India. StartupWind was chosen as one of the sixteen semi finalists from an outstanding group of more than 200 companies.

The Smart Fifty competition is conducted by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park in association with the Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology, with Brandeis International Business School and TiE Boston as the international partners. The competition seeks ideas that are sustainable, motivating, affordable, responsible and transformational.
